Library Policy

Unitec Library services and resources are provided to meet the teaching, learning and research needs of Unitec’s students and staff. All library users have both a right to work without undue disturbance or distraction and a duty to respect the rights of others. Your co-operation in making the library a pleasant place for others to work without interruption or disturbance is appreciated.

Please see the Library Policy document for the full library rules and users' obligations.

Attached to the Library Policy are the following documents:

  • Library Policy Appendix: Library Membership Regulations (describing who may become a member of the library)
  • Schedule 1 to the Library Policy: Privileges, fees and limits (library members' access to services, including number of items allowed to be borrowed and when library privileges may be suspended)

And also see the Unitec Student Disciplinary Statute.
