  • Online library catalogue instruction
  • Effective strategies for finding and evaluating information
  • Internet instruction
  • Class instruction tailored to the students' projects or assignments
  • Instruction on specific journal databases
  • EndNote

We teach tutorials in classrooms and computer labs, as well as in the library.

Drop-In Sessions, Tours, Open Access Tutorials

We advertise our drop in sessions, tours and other tutorials open to all students on our Library Blog and on posters. Individual help can be given at any time by asking our Information Desk staff or contacting the Information Services team.

Information Literacy Training Within A Course

If library training is organised as part of the course or endorsed by the lecturer, students can see that developing information literacy skills is an important part of the learning process. Organise library training for your class and they will get a session tailored to their particular needs, skill levels or assignment.
Contact details to arrange an information literacy session are below.
